I have over thirty- years of experience working with Family and Children Services in the State of Georgia. I also worked as Board Chair of Clayton County Mental Health in Georgia. My work experience has given me the opportunity to assist many different populations including children, adolescents and foster parents. Working with children with all different behaviors which includes Conduct Disorder, Disruptive Behavior Disorder, ADHD and ODD. Also, a facilitator of Family Team Meetings and teen mentoring. I have conducted many trainings to certify foster parents and train employees in child abuse investigations. I have been trained in Leadership and Supervision at the University of West Georgia. I have recently relocated to Ohio and ready to start my new journey.
I am very excited to start my journey with Atla Behavioral Health working with The Pathways Hub/ Infant Mortality Program. I will be working aggressively with Ohio Departments of Medicaid, Health, Mental Health and Addiction Services and other human services agencies to initiate several new programs to improve the systems supports for at-risk mothers and children to improve the birth outcomes statewide.
