I have worked at Alta since 2001 as a therapist.  Throughout my employment, I have provided individual, group and family counseling services.  I am a therapist with Alta’s Trauma Recovery Unit and have worked as a Behavior Intervention Specialist with the Youngstown City Schools. My areas of professional focus are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Structural Family Therapy.  I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Youngstown State University (1994) and also hold a Master of Science in Education with a degree in Community Counseling from Youngstown State University (2001).  I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision Designation. I am a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
