Child Family Therapist: Due to our continued expansion we are seeking a Full or Part-Time Counselor to join our team and deliver mental health and counseling services to children, adolescents, and families. Services will be provided in our new office in Howland, Ohio and one of our other offices (Youngstown/Austintown). Successful candidate will provide counseling services within our offices, the community, schools, or homes, as necessary.

Minimum qualifications must include a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health discipline and licensure with the state of Ohio as Professional Counselor or Social Worker. Some evening work required.

Child Family Art Therapist: Due to our continued expansion we are seeking a Full or Part-Time Art Therapist who is dually credentialed with licensure in the field of mental health in the state of Ohio. We are looking for an Art Therapist to join our team and deliver mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. Art Therapy will be provided in any of our 4 offices in Youngstown, Austintown, Boardman or Howland. Therapeutic Behavioral Support Worker: Seeking a full-time Therapeutic Behavioral Support Worker (TBS) to join our Care Coordination program. Delivery of this service may require varying caseload restrictions based upon the complexity of and/or seriousness of the client’s emotional disorder, as well as environmental circumstances. Minimum qualifications must include a Bachelor’s Degree in a Health and Human Service related field and prior experience working with youth and their families. Preferred qualifications are a Master’s Degree, preferably in a Mental Health related field, specific Therapeutic Behavioral Support work history, and/or previous experience in working with children in a mental health setting.

Fiscal Clerk – Accounts Payable

Alta Care Group, Inc. is seeking applicants for an Accounts Payable – Fiscal Clerk. This position performs all duties as required to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and other duties relating to fiscal operations. It is responsible for monitoring expenses, tracking activity in all programs and communicating any issues and reconciling Accounts Payable documents.

Essential Functions

  1. Keeps accurate files of all bids and quotes and contract documents including compliance with Davis Bacon Act where appropriate.
  2. Records general ledger coding on purchase orders and check requests and makes sure all purchase requisitions have proper approval.
  3. Ensures timely payment of all accounts payable.
  4. Trouble shoots Accounts Payable invoices and statements as necessary prior to payment or to correct errors after the fact.
  5. Contacts vendors to set up vendor files. Requests and completes credit applications as needed. Maintains a vendor file for each program vendor.
  6. Maintains the electronic purchase order system and follows up on any discrepancies.
  7. Works closely with the CFO to review any issues monthly. Communicates any issues and potential overspending areas to Program Directors, CFO, and CEO.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Two or more years’ experience in Accounts Payable required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, preferred.

UPSTREAM Parent Mentor:

Seeking a candidate for a part-time position (10-20 hrs/wk) requiring flexible schedule to include evening work in providing home-based services. Minimum qualification is a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Education, Early Childhood, Social Work or related profession. Candidate must possess:

  • Experience in providing direct services to children and families with an understanding of diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Ability to teach literacy skills/promote school readiness skills to children through working with children and parents/guardians in a home-based setting.
  • Ability to assist families in learning/implementing positive parenting techniques to strengthen child’s academic and social emotional development as well as to promote home as child’s primary learning environment.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (ECMHC)

Alta Care Group, Inc. is seeking applicants for a full time Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (ECMHC).

The ECMHC provides consultative services to early care staff, children and families in a community setting.

Qualified candidates should be familiar with the social, emotional, behavioral, developmental and academic milestones of children birth through kindergarten.

Duties will include classroom observations, development and implementation of classroom management and child-specific action plans, as well as the documentation of data pieces needed for program reports/evaluation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

The minimum qualification for this position is a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education, Family and Consumer Studies, Social Work or other related field.

Preferred qualifications include an academic background in child developmental/early childhood, experience in assessment/interventions with young (under age six) children and experience in consultation and/or working with social service or health service providers to youth.
