Child Family Art Therapist: Due to our continued expansion we are seeking a Full or Part-Time Art Therapist who is dually credentialed with licensure in the field of mental health in the state of Ohio. Therapeutic Behavioral Support Worker: Seeking a full-time Therapeutic Behavioral Support Worker (TBS) to join our Care Coordination program. Delivery of this service may require varying caseload restrictions based upon the complexity of and/or seriousness of the client’s emotional disorder, as well as environmental circumstances. Billing Clerk

Alta Care Group, Inc. is seeking applicants for a Fiscal Billing Clerk. This position would be responsible for providing assistance to the office of the CEO, CFO, or Clinical Director through the provision of highly skilled, complex, or technical services that are not of a clerical assistant or associates nature alone. Such jobs involve highly independent decision making, such as may be involved in the organization of tasks necessary to completing a Board or Grant work project, analysis and interpretation of technical rules or standards, and systems analysis. The Billing Clerk performs billing and charge entry functions for the center in accordance with Alta’s policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Prior experience with insurance billing procedures.
  2. H.S. Diploma and minimum four years experience in job related duties.
  3. Trade School Certificate or Associates degree plus minimum of three years experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Prior work in mental health/medical health related field.
  2. Prior experience with HCFA 1500 billing and knowledgeable of governmental, managed care and commercial payer regulations.
  3. Experience with CPT codes and ICD-10 diagnosis codes.

Part Time Community Health Worker

Seeking part-time Community Health Worker (CHW) to join our Care Coordination program, which will implement the Community Pathways HUB Model to reduce infant mortality. CHW’s work with pregnant women at greatest risk, treat their unique challenges by connecting them to evidence-based interventions, and measure program outcomes. Connect women to community resources to remove barriers to pre/post-natal care by utilizing standardized Pathways, including:

  • Permanent housing (Housing Pathway)
  • Education services (Adult Education Pathway)
  • Employment assistance (Employment Pathway)
  • Mental Health and Addiction Services (Behavioral Health and/or Social Service Pathway)
  • Social Services including transportation, WIC, parenting classes, Cribs for Kids, etc. (Social Service Pathway)
  • Tobacco Cessation Services (Smoking Cessation Pathway
  • Requires provision of home-community based services. Minimum requirements are High School diploma with previous social service or health related experience. Bachelor’s Degree and/or prior experience in case management services preferred. Must have reliable transportation. CHW training and certification to be provided.

Intensive Home Based Therapist

Seeking a clinician to provide Intensive Home Based Treatment to children, adolescents, and their families. Successful candidate will, as part of a team, provide intensive counseling services to a small caseload of families in their natural living environments, school, or other necessary locations in the community. The goal is to reduce risk of placement in restrictive care settings and to prepare families for youth stepping down from restrictive care settings. The candidate will work closely with other community stakeholders, including Child Protective Services and Juvenile Court. On call crisis availability is a requirement. Starting salary is very competitive. Minimum qualifications must include licensure with the state of Ohio as Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Social Worker. Preference with be given to candidates with a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health discipline with Ohio licensure. Some evening work required.

Family Coach

Seeking a full-time Family Coach for Alta Care Group. This position will provide home-based services to families with the goal of increasing protective factors and adopting new behaviors to strengthen the family unit and mitigate risk factors for child abuse and neglect. The Family Coach will be trained in several evidenced based programs and practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Triple P Positive Parenting Program, and Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Associate’s Degree (or equivalent) in Education, Early Childhood, Social Work or related profession.
  2. Experience in providing direct services to children and families with an understanding of diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
  2. In addition to above, has had academic background in developmental/early childhood areas.
  3. Experience in clinical observation/assessment/interventions with young (under age six) children.
  4. Experience in consultation and/or working with social service or health service providers to youth.
  5. Background in working with families or children including prevention and or treatment related to abuse or neglect.
  6. Demonstrates experience in working within systems to remove barriers for families seeking services and as well as ability to arrange interagency meetings designated to coordinate services and ensure effective collaboration.
  7. Experience ensuring data collection and documentation is consistent with rule and regulations as prescribed by both applicable state and federal laws and policies.
  8. Excellent verbal and written skills
  9. Proficient with computer software
  10. Ability to travel and work remotely
  11. Good understanding of community resources is a plus
