My journey at Alta Behavioral Health began in 2005 when I began my internship as a graduate student. I completed my Masters program in 2006 with a degree in Community Counseling from the University of Akron. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Ursuline College in 2003.
During my time at Alta I have been part of the Early Childhood Department and the Trauma Unit. In addition I have received training in the Incredible Years, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Management Training, Motivational Interviewing, Structural Family Therapy and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I am a nationally certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TFCBT) therapist. Since 2008 I have been a member of the Continuous Quality Performance Improvement committee (CQPI).
